WHAT IS TELEMEDICINE

Teleneurology is a form of telemedicine involving screen-to-screen and online consultation performed real time.  It can also involve telephone contact. This service relieves the burden of travel and empowers patients to decide when and where their care takes place.

 

For vulnerable patient populations this reduces exposure from travel and care. Telemedicine  improves care to under serviced areas.  Our goal is to provide better coordinated and more continuous care.

If Dr. Madhani feels appropriate you may be offered a telemedicine appointment in place of your regular appointment OR before an in person appointment with Dr. Madhani.

 

After the telemedicine consult you may be required to see Dr. Madhani for a physical exam before recommendations are given.
