WHAT TO EXPECT AFTER YOUR FIRST VISIT

A single visit may not resolve your medical issue; Dr. Madhani will inform you at the end of the visit if a follow-up visit or visits are required. If this is the case you will need to book your follow-up appointment at your convenience. Booking of all follow-up appointments is the patient's own responsibility.  The office will not call you to arrange follow-up.

At the time of Initial consultation Dr. Madhani will decide if the referral question requires on going care after physical exam or if a consult opinion will be sufficient to answer the referral question.  Initial consult does not imply ongoing care or longitudinal follow-up. This will be decided by the physician on a case-by-case basis.

Follow-up appointments are typically shorter than the initial consult.  Dr. Madhani will address the reason for referral and will not be able to address other unrelated neurological concerns or requests for care/services.

If  Dr. Madhani feels it would be appropriate to see your for another unrelated concern Dr. Madhani will request a new referral by your GP; This is to ensure that an adequate in-depth assessment is possible and that you receive the best care possible.
